brochure and print design
The project aims to explore the intersection of typographic principles and visual storytelling through a carefully structured brochure design. The primary goal is to enhance the ability to organize visual elements in a hierarchy, utilizing a grid system to create a cohesive, rhythmically engaging layout. Emphasizing readability and visual hierarchy, the design incorporates black-and-white photographic images of an artist’s work, arranged across multiple panels to establish a dynamic interaction between type and image.
By adhering to proportional consistency, rhythm, and harmony, the project seeks to engage the viewer visually while ensuring that the text serves both decorative and informative purposes. Through this process, the designer will refine their proficiency with InDesign tools, emphasizing the effective application of textures, forms, and colors to create a balanced, aesthetically stimulating composition that invites exploration across the brochure’s pages.
